Thailand land / wire telephones remain on a 9 digit dialing system. These change only effect Thai mobile telephones.

Thailand Domestic calls to mobile phones example 1: 07 555 5555 >> 087 555-5555 International call to Thai Mobile Telephone. All International calls omit the first 0 example 1: 66 05 555 5555 is now 66 85 555 5555 Changes effect calls to MOBILE telephones only!!
Stored numbers in Thai mobile phones should be manually changed. Mobile phone centers have software to automatically do this .. but any number beginning with 0 in the phone's address book (all #s that even slightly resemble a mobile phone #) will be changed = Thai land line #s could be changed to wrong #s! |

Thai Land line phone numbers have not changed .. remain 9 digit
The initial 0 is omitted when calling into Thailand .. when calling from outside Thailand omit the initial 0. International calls to Thailand mobile phones example 2:
